    Pacific Division:
    Calgary Bears:
    Biggest Rival: Victoria Islanders
    Personnel:
General Manager: Chad Gilmour - 55 years old from Cambridge, ON
Head Coach: Phillipe Jalbert - 56 years old from Beauceville, QC
Chief Scout: Pat Rychel - 53 years old from Orangeville, ON

    Roster:

Captain: Pat Halsall, a 31 year old left winger from Maple Grove, MN is the star player of the Calgary team, and was chosen by Coach Jalbert as captain of the team. Halsall is a well rounded offensive player who can stickhandle well, as well as pass, and shoot. His acceleration is top notch, and his speed and strength on the puck are outstanding. He is a strong leader and a brave player who can be an effective defensive player as well.
Assistant Captains: Luca Virtanen (RW), Connor Keller (RW)
Other Key Players: Chris Rainford (LW), Matt Zanbilowicz (LD), Mike Miles (G)

Preview: Expect Halsall to anchor this team offensively and be the real key to success. Virtanen and Rainford are other skilled wingers, but Calgary lacks a good centerman to put in between them. Mike Miles is a decent goalie, but not a star to lift the team to greatness, and with little defensive support outside of Zanbilowicz, this team could struggle to keep the puck out of the net.

    Idaho Ligers:
    Biggest Rival: Los Angeles Stingrays
    Personnel:
General Manager: Filip Kolowski - 42 years old from Brooklyn, NY
Head Coach: Joe Cummings - 39 years old from South Bend, IN
Chief Scout: Markus Zimmerman - 36 years old from Mebane, NC

    Roster:

Captain: Josh Voth, a 35 year old centerman from Sackville, Nova Scotia is extremely skilled an well worn. He reads the game on both ends of the ice exceptionally well, and while he might not have the same skating legs he did a few years ago, he's a great leader and mentor, and good at the little things like faceoffs, stick checking, and making smart plays.
Assistant Captains: Bryan Sheals (LD), Joe Neumann (RW)
Other Key Players: Tony Montesano (RD), Adam Burmister (RW), Filip Olsson (LW)

Preview: This is a really strong team in the top core, but it has a lot of older players. Voth and Montesano are 35, and Neumann, Burmister, and Holmgren are all over 30. Young players like Olsson may be relied on late in the season when the older players wear out. Idaho lacks a top notch goalie, as Hryhoriy Fedorchuk really should be a backup, not a starter. Idaho has a solid defense in front of him though led by Sheals and Montesano.

    Los Angeles Stingrays:
    Biggest Rival: Idaho Ligers
    Personnel:
General Manager: Pete Doyle - 53 years old from Raleigh, NC
Head Coach: Alex Landgraf - 56 years old from Owensboro, KY
Chief Scout: Milliard Wilhoit - 51 years old from Lansing, MI

    Roster:

Captain: Anthony Coleman is a 34 year old right winger from Edmonds, Washington, so he grew up on the Pacific coast. Not an overly skilled offensive player (although he can still get it done), Coleman is a fast skater, and good physical player. He is also great at getting back to help out the D, and winning battles down low.
Assistant Captains: Jordan Young (LW), David Campbell (RD)
Other Key Players: Will McLean (LD), Todd MaGee (LW), Dennis Moss (G)

Preview: This team lacks any real star power, but they have a good amount of players that can fill out top 6 roles, and a solid goalie as well in Moss. Young should be the offensive dynamo for this team along with Coleman, but like Calgary, they need to find a good center in between the two. Anderson Snow is the only player on the roster listed as a centerman.

    Seattle Wolves:
    Biggest Rival: Victoria Islanders
    Personnel:
General Manager: William Farallo - 34 years old from Abigndon, IL
Head Coach: Eric Weld - 36 years old from Los Angeles, CA
Chief Scout: Hossam Knifton - 33 years old from Gilbert, MN

    Roster:

Captain: Stefan Gignac is a 27 year old right winger from Sherbrooke, QC. At only 189 pounds, Gignac is quite lanky for his 6'2" frame. He's a good puck handler with an accurate shot, and he has an active stick and good positioning. Not the best player, he is a great leader, and he plays with an edge of tenacity and grit despite being a skill player.
Assistant Captains: Benn Guptill (RD), Ryan MacKay (LD)
Other Key Players: Finn Gaarde (LD), Drew Read (G), Tobias Bell (RW)

Preview: This team is strongest on defense with four guys who can play solid top 4 minutes with ease. Guptill and MacKay lead the way, and Gaarde and Pance will make no shabby secondary pairing. On forward Gignac and Bell both play RW, and a top tier center or left wing is something Seattle could use. Read is a solid goalie, about on par with Moss and Miles, and better than Fedorchuk.

    Victoria Islanders:
    Biggest Rival: Seattle Wolves
    Personnel:
General Manager: Sam Danes - 36 years old from Kelowna, BC
Head Coach: Max Brace - 52 years old from St. Thomas, ON
Chief Scout: Steve Lesburg - 47 years old from Mississauga, ON

    Roster:

Captain: Chuck Petty is 30 years old and born in Dallas, Texas. A centerman since he first laced them up, Petty is 6'2" and 220 lbs! He is a strong player with deceptive speed, and a huge work ethic. He's always been a bit more a pass first guy, but his shot is just as lethal.
Assistant Captains: Corey O'Higgins (RD), Howard Savage (LD)
Other Key Players: Desmond Martin (C), Timothee Langevin (G), Chay Gilmour (RW)

Preview: Victoria is the strongest team down the middle in this division with Petty and Martin as great top 6 centerman. They excel in this spot where other teams struggle, have a good starter in Langevin, and an excellent top pairing of O'Higgins and Savage. Depth and top end talent on the wings may be an issue, but all in all Victoria has it pretty good.

    Central Division:
    Green Bay Wasps:
    Biggest Rival: St. Louis Sting
    Personnel:
General Manager: Mokichi Biel - 57 year old from Wells Branch, TX
Head Coach: Peter Spencer - 50 year old from Las Vegas, NV

Chief Scout: Brian Cramer - 34 year old from Augusta, GA

    Roster:

    Captain:
Rhett Bouvette, a 27 year old defender from Richmond, BC is a great defenseman. His puckhandling and passing skills make him an offensive threat, and he's a great stick and bodychecker. His balance and stamina are great, although for a captain his leadership skills off ice are a bit weak.
Assistant Captains: Elijah Murray (LD), Cam Walker (RD)
Other Key Players: Aleksandr Azariyev (LW), Nikita Kitsyn (C), Mike Lyons (RW)

Preview: Green Bay has a strong defensive core with Murray, Walker, and captain Bouvette, as wel as Jarrod Quinn. Azariyev, Kitsyn, and Lyons should form a solid scoring line, but Green Bay doesn't have a great goalie. Troy Little is the expected starter, although he may surprise.

    Manitoba Beavers:
Biggest Rival: Minneapolis Trees/St. Paul Polars
    Personnel:
General Manager: Simon Cloutier - 33 years old from Saint-Ettiene-de-Gres, QC
Head Coach: Emmett Hamilton - 56 years old from Hamilton, ON
Chief Scout: Kory Killip - 54 years old from Fort McMurray, AB

    Roster:

    Captain:
Ladislav Janocko is a 33 year old right wing from Zilina, Slovakia. He's great at getting into open space, and is a shifty stickhandler. A strong stickchecker, he has explosive acceleration, even if his top speed is quite average.
Assistant Captains: Tyler Marks (LD), Tomas Vykouk (RW)
Other Key Players: Mark Hartley (LD), Ronald Thackwray (LW), Benny Rylander (C)

Preview: Manitoba lacks a top end RD, or any good D outside of Marks and Hartley for that matter. A lot will be on their shoulders, especially with possibly the worst goalie tandem in the league of Charbonneau and Reese. A lot will be shouldered on the offense, led by Thackwray, Janocko, Vykouk, and Rylander.

    Minneapolis Trees:
    Biggest Rival: St. Paul Polars
    Personnel:
General Manager: Garrett Powlesland - 33 years old from Lebanon, OH
Head Coach: Rick Goebel - 45 years old from Valley Park, MO
Chief Scout: William Lewis - 39 years old from Chicago, IL

    Roster:

Captain: Spencer Holmberg is a 31 year old defender born in Toronto, ON to a Swedish father. He's a defensive defenseman with excellent positioning and awareness. He's only 6'0" and 181 lbs, but he can dish out hits like a 6'5" and 235 lbs defender. He has a heavy shot and elite passing skills.
Assistant Captains: Pierre-Oliver Chenier (LW), Hubert Vallaincourt (C)
Other Key Players: David Haaf (RD), Dave Morris (LW), Jon Cox (RW)

Preview: Holmberg is one of the best players in the league, and will be the heart of this team. Another team with relatively weak goaltending (seemingly a common theme in this league), strong efforts from Holmberg and Haaf will be required. Chenier leads this team on forward, and he Vallaincourt, and likely Cox will form a good first line.

    St. Louis Sting:
    Biggest Rival: Green Bay Wasps
    Personnel:
General Manager: Billy Maddox - 33 year old from Amherst, NY
Head Coach: Steve Sawyer - 53 year old from Beardstown, IL
Chief Scout: Carl Pearce - 31 year old from New York, NY

    Roster:

Captain: Garrett Mitchell is a 33 year old defender from Toronto, ON. He's only 6'1", but he weighs a sturdy 225 lbs. A good puckhandler with a heavy shot, Mitchell is a good two way defender. He can log heavy minutes and dish out punishing checks. He always seems to be in the right position to stop the other team's offense from getting a goal.
Assistant Captains: Karoly Kovacs (RW), Miroslav Gona (RW)
Other Key Players: Matt Severson (RW), Matt Daniels (C), Tyler Valiquette (G)

Preview: Mitchell anchors a strong defense with Fyten and Rysavy. Valiquette is a good goalie, and Severson, Gona, Kovacs, and Naslund all play right wing. As some of the best forwards, some of them may have to play their opposite sides, or play a reduced role. Daniels is the one elite center on the team, but at 35 he may not be around too long.

    St. Paul Polars:
    Biggest Rival: Minneapolis Trees
    Personnel:
General Manager: Fred Crawford - 45 year old from West Glendive, MT
Head Coach: Robert O'Madden - 32 year old from St. Petersburg, FL
Chief Scout: Nick Dalgish - 43 year old from Richmond, MO

    Roster:

Captain: Les Blanchard is a 32 year old left winger from Pennsylvania. He's not an overly big fellow, but he is very skilled. His passing, stickhandling, and ability to read the offensive play is some of the best in the league. He is an agile skater with good acceleration, which makes him slippery and hard to catch.
Assistant Captains: Alyaksandr Sherakow (RD), Teegan Brine (LW)
Other Key Players: Zach Andrew (LD), Paul Straley (G), Greg Watts (C)

Preview: Led by the skilled Blanchard and top defender Sherakow, St. Paul also has a good goalie in Straley. Watts, Brine, Blanchard, and Saunders are all skilled forwards, and should provide good scoring on a generally well rounded team.

    American Division:
    Buffalo Saviours:
    Biggest Rivals: Detroit Goats
    Personnel:
General Manager: Anucha Supardo - 59 year old from Maple Glen, PA
Head Coach: Yulian Winter - 33 year old from Orem, UT
Chief Scout: Rodney White - 32 year old from Brooklyn, NY

    Roster:

Captain: Caden Torry is a 34 year old defender of Roseville, CA. He's not a top end defender as much as an experienced veteran, but he still is good at logging heavy minutes, stickchecking, and making calm, smooth stickhandling moves.
Assistant Captains: Travis May (LD), Juraj Krajcik (C)
Other Key Players: Olivier Nault (RD), Jordan Gamache (C), Kieth Hurtubuise (G)

Preview: Led by young center Jordan Gamache and solid defense from Nault and May, this is a team good enough right now, but looking even better for the future. At only 22, Gamache has many years ahead of him, and Nault is only 26, with lots of potential. Hurtubuise is a good starter.

    Detroit Goats:
    Biggest Rival: Buffalo Saviours
    Personnel:
General Manager: Clay Holzman - 54 years old from South Bay, FL
Head Coach: Larry Bartowiak - 43 year old from Reno, NV
Chief Scout: Charles Frank - 37 year old from Arlington, MA

    Roster:

    Captain:
Phil Nations is a 34 year old center, and a native of Cicero, IL. At 6'3" and 226 lbs, he's a powerful figure, and he uses his size effectively for screening, hitting, and occassionally fighting. He's a team first guy, and a great passer.
Assistant Captains: Alexandre Vallieres (LD), Christian Rielly (LW)
Other Key Players: Earl Andreacchi (G), Jake Sharpe (LD), Lumbomir Zabka (C)

Preview: Andreacchi is the best goalie we've preview so far, and one of the elite in the league. The team is centered around him, and Sharpe and Vallieres will do their best supporting on defense. Rielly and Nations lead the offense which is meager, but should be effective enough.

    Florida Athletics:
    Biggest Rival: Norfolk Cruisers
    Personnel:
General Manager: Tom Black - 59 year old from Apple Valley, MN
Head Coach: Bob Dickinson - 49 year old from Broken Arrow, OK
Chief Scout: Adam Cavanaugh - 54 year old from Tamiami, FL

    Roster:

    Captain:
Chris Calce is a 33 year old defender from Calgary, AB. An excellent shooter, he has an absolute cannon that can pick the corners. He has great balance and strength, which make him hard to push off the puck, and he can play for many minutes a night. His hitting and checking are also great, making him one of the best, most well rounded defenders in the league.
Assistant Captains: Pavel Fojtik (LW), Andrew Scoones (LW)
Other Key Players: Brit Lane (RD), Aleksandr Oschinsky (LW), Pavel Korytak (LD)

Preview: Calce and Lane are the best d-pairing in the division, and probably the entire league. Having Korytak on the next pairing is almost unfair, not to mention Fojtik, and elite scorer who is backed up by Oschinsky and Yelizarov. The only thing this team lacks is a good goalie, as their starter Bolshaw, leaves quite a lot to be desired.

    New Jersey Generals:
    Biggest Rival: New York Aces
    Personnel:
General Manager: Anthony Stoakes - 36 years old from Ft. Worth, TX
Head Coach: Willie Ridenour - 47 years old from Greentree, NJ
Chief Scout: Clint Ritchie - 42 years old from Vernon, CT

    Roster:

Captain: Ron O'Byrne is a 31 year old right wing from Oregon. At only 5'9", he's a small fellow, but his 205 lbs pack a punch. Incredibly strong on his feet, O'Byrne is an excellent defensive forward because of his ability to win puck battles anywhere on the ice. He's great in front of the net with defelctions and rebounds, and knows how to get into his opponent's heads.
Assistant Captains: Martin Copik (LW), Jimmy Powell (LD)
Other Key Players: Martin Kvapil (LD), Vladimir Shafransky (LW), Marco Caramia (RD)

Preview: This is a tough, gritty team, and their battles with the Aces should be full of physical play. Kvapil leads the team from the back end, and with Caramia, Frye, and Gingras, forms a solid top 4. Copik, Shafransky, and O'Byrne will lead the team offensively, where they will likely struggle. Once again, New Jersey hasn't got a great goalie, and may be a candidate for worst duo in the league.

    New York Aces:
    Biggest Rival: New Jersey Generals
    Personnel:
General Manager: Jim Scheid - 46 year old from Wentzville, MO
Head Coach: Ronny Guvenc - 38 year old from Endwell, NY
Chief Scout: Matt Gray - 42 year old from Santa Anna, TX

    Roster:

Captain: Mitch Gregoire, 32, was born in La Sarre, Quebec, and plays right wing. An extreme talent, Gregoire is an amazing skater. His ability to read the game is excellent, and he's strong on the puck. His defensive instincts are that of an elite two way forward.
Assistant Captains: Randolph Williamson (LD), Richard Fekiac (LW)
Other Key Players: Carlton Pinchin (LW), Jason Fletcher (G), Brad Bradford (C)

Preview: These guys know how to battle on both ends, and have a good goalie to back them up. Gregoire, Bradford, and Pinchin, along with Fekiac lead a good attack, and Williamson is the anchor on defense.

    Norfolk Cruisers:
    Biggest Rival: Florida Athletics
    Personnel:
General Manager: Jon Myers - 40 years old from Los Angeles, CA
Head Coach: Steve Sharpe - 36 year old from New York, NY
Chief Scout: Jose Rios - 37 year old from Bloomington, IL

    Roster:

    Captain:
David Wozney is a Winnipeg native who plays right wing. Only 28 years old, the 6'2", 222 lbs captain of Norfolk is a punishing hitter. He uses his strong legs to be an explosive, fast skater. An amazing mind for the offensive game, mixed with lethal shooting, stickhandling, and passing make Wozney a force to be reckoned with on offense.
Assistant Captains: Garry Strait (C), Drake Aasman (C)
Other Key Players: Connor Retief (LW), Andy Breault (RD), Anton Jonson (RD)

Preview: Wozney is a great current forward, and Retief will become one of the best in the league. Strait is a perfect center to complete this line. Breault and Johnson anchor the defense that will need to be on point with another weak goalie duo of Karlsson and Deacon.

    Belleville Bulls:
    Biggest Rival: Toronto Nationals
    Personnel:
General Manager: Felix Carrie - 51 years old from Ottawa, ON
Head Coach: Christophe Corbeil - 33 years old from Levis, QC
Chief Scout: Adam Cadieux - 56 years old from Granby, QC

    Roster:

Captain: Devon Mulligan, 30, was born in Toronto, ON, and is a defenseman. Hard hitting, and hard working, his constant effort is a great example to the team. A very well rounded player, Mulligan is a great skater with above average offensive capabilities.
Assistant Captains: Tim Durtnell (LD), Tony McAdam (LW)
Other Key Players: Raymond Burnett (LW), Miroslav Husek (C), Andy Walker (LD)

Preview: A strong defensive pair of Durtnell and Mulligan is one to be feared, and Burnett and McAdam provide solid scoring depth on the left side. Forward depth and goaltending are the main issues for the Bulls.

    Halifax Knights:
    Biggest Rival: Quebec City Nordiques
    Personnel:
General Manager: Adam Brunet - 47 year old from Mirabel, QC
Head Coach: Chris Tam - 37 year old from Calgary, AB
Chief Scout: Will Komadoski - 48 year old from Calgary, AB

    Roster:

Captain: Aiden Ashmore, 33, was born in Cody, Wyoming, and plays center. He excells at faceoffs, especially in the offensive zone, where is prowess with the puck and great passing have made him a feared player. His skating legs have left him a bit, but he can still motor on.
Assistant Captains: Tony Pugh (RD), Ken Luke (C)
Other Key Players: Niclas Westman (RD), Jim Flynn (RD), Angelo Gonzalez (LW)

Preview: Halifax is stacked with four talented RD, but outside of that their team is quite weak. Gonzalez and Ashmore aren't exactly a lethal combo, and Shelton is far from a top notch goalie. Don't expect too much from this team outside of their defense, unless they can make some trades to shake things up and balance out their defensive sides.

    Montreal Smoke:
    Biggest Rival: Quebec City Nordiques

    Personnel:
General Manager: Felix Filiatrault - 51 year old from Gatineau, QC
Head Coach: Marc-Antoine Chabot - 44 year old from Liniere, QC
Chief Scout: Nicholas Rosenfield - 41 year old from Langley, BC

    Roster:

    Captain:
Bill Hughes is a defenseman born in Herald Harbour, Maryland, 24 years ago. He's small of stature at only 5'9", but he has a big heart, and is loved by all the fans of every team he has played for. A classy fellow, he still wears his heart on his sleeve, and always wants to win. He can play forever, and is a quick skater. He also has a powerful shot for a small fellow, one of the best in the league in that regard.
Assistant Captains: Casey Bevington (RW), Matti-Pekka Niskanen (RW)
Other Key Players: Julien Morais (LW), Artie Stanton (RD), Jonathan Tinker (C)

Preview: Montreal has their top 5 cut out for them with Morais, Tinker, Bevington, Hughes, and Stanton. Kjaer is an underrated Danish keeper, and Montreal also has decent depth with players like Lord, Niskanen, and Stewart.

    Ottawa Gladiators:
    Biggest Rival: Montreal Smoke/Toronto Nationals
    Personnel:
General Manager: David Legarde - 37 years old from London, ON
Head Coach: Francis Sauve - 33 years old from Laval, QC
Chief Scout: Max Wilson - 32 year old from Calgary, AB

    Roster:

    Captain:
Sean Sgro is 37 years old and a native of Vancouver. He plays center, and while quite old, he can still play very well. His offensive weapons are still there, and his mind for the game has sharpened with age. He's still agile and a great skater. His ability to read the play defensively and make quick checks without being penalized is renowned.
Assistant Captains: Ray Boag (RW), Bradley Beauchemin (C)
Other Key Players: Jason Hendrie (LW), Samuel Castonguay (RD), Braden Poitras (LD)

Preview: Boag is the star of this team, and along with Hendrie and Sgro should form a potent top line. However this team is quite old, as six of their top eight players are 30+. Ottawa lacks a great goalie, although Gervais is quite servicable and still has room to grow.

    Quebec City Nordiques:
    Biggest Rivals: Montreal Smoke
    Personnel:
General Manager: Gabriel Dubois - 44 year old from Brampton, ON
Head Coach: Daniel Albert - 39 year old from Edmonton, AB
Chief Scout: Brandon Winnik - 49 year old from Toronto, ON

    Roster:

Captain: Lukas Ekberg was born in Aland, Finland. Widely considered one of the leagues best players, Ekberg is definitely the best skater. To go with that he has great two way hockey sense, a rocket shot, and good passing and stickhandling. It's hard to find something wrong with the Swedish speaking Finn's game.
Assistant Captain: Neal Lindsey (RD), Liam Hannan (RD)
Other Key Players: Jim Haley (LD), Markus Aaltonen (C), Allen Cranidge (RW)

Preview: Quebec has Ekberg to lead the team, and even outside of him are a deep team down the middle, making them an immediate contender. Hickson and Aaltonen are top line material, and Glinkov is an elite second liner. Rumours suggest Aaltonen might play the right side, and Glinkov the left on a top line with Ekberg. Lindsey and Haley are both elite defenders, and will anchor a solid core in that region of the ice. Quebec's goaltending is the only concern.
