The Washington Nationals have reportedly acquired Adam Eaton from the Chicago White Sox. The Chicago White Sox will be getting Lucas Giolito, Reynaldo Lopez, and Dane Dunning.

Adam Eaton hit .284/.362/.428 with 14 HR and 59 RBI last year for the White Sox. He would likely play CF for Washington, which will move Trea Turner to SS.

Lucas Giolito is the #1 prospect in the Nationals prospect pool and is the #3 prospect in baseball. Wow, I'm shocked that the Nats traded him away... Very impressive stuff and should be a great pitcher in the MLB.

BUT WAIT, it doesn't end there. The White Sox also acquired Reynaldo Lopez, the #3 prospect in the Nationals prospect pool and the #38 prospect in baseball. Lopez got some taste of the major league level this year and should be an excellent pitcher in the future. That's a lot for Adam Eaton though, GREAT trade for the White Sox...

    WHAT There's more???!

The White Sox ALSO acquire Dane Dunning, the #6 prospect in the Nationals prospect pool. He was a first round pick in the 2016 draft and will take a few years before he reaches the MLB.

So, the White Sox traded Adam Eaton for Lucas Giolito (#1 in :nationals pool, #3 in baseball), Reynaldo Lopez (#3 in :nationals pool), and Dane Dunning (#6 in :nationals pool). All three prospects are pitchers.

In two days, the White Sox have acquired Yoan Moncada (#1 prospect in baseball), Lucas Giolito (#3 in baseball), Michael Kopech (#30 in baseball), Reynaldo Lopez (#38 in baseball), Dane Dunning (#6 in Nats pool), and Luis Alexander Basabe (#8 in Red Sox pool). If all goes well, this team is gonna look sick in a few years.

    Who won the trade?

White Sox won this deal by a motherfukking landslide. Acquiring the third best prospect in the MLB and many other prospects for an outfielder who may not stay with the White Sox permanently is robbery.
