The regular season officially ended today and all the matchups are set. Post your predictions for what will happen in the wild card round and beyond down below. My Predictions Wild Card Round: > : Miami is an underrated team but can't see Pittsburgh losing this one with how hot and consistent they've been of late > : Kills me to think about Houston going all the way to the div round while teams like Baltimore and Tennessee miss but the Raiders will be on the road and likely starting their 3rd string QB against a tough D > : I think Seattle is an extremely overrated team and isn't that big of a threat, but it's been extremely hard to beat them at home and Stafford and the defense have been cooling off as of late > : Easily the best game of the WC round. As good as the Giants are, I can't see them beating Green Bay at home with how hot Rodgers and the defense have been of late. Divisional Round: > : The Pats will easily destroy this Texans team, especially when playing in Foxborough. > : The Chiefs are a great team with an exceptional defense, but I just don't think their mediocre offense will be enough to overcome a red-hot Steelers unit. Will be a very good, close game. > : This will be another very close game. I think Green Bay's red hot passing attack will be able to take advantage of a defense that has vastly overachieved so far this year. This could all come down to Green Bay being able to find some balance with the running game. > : I really don't buy Seattle as contenders this year with their struggling, Lynch-less offense and without the help of Earl Thomas in the secondary. Atlanta takes this one easily. AFCCG: > : Something just tells me that this just isn't the Pats' year (especially sans Gronk) and I don't think the NE defense will be able to contain a healthy trio of Ben, Brown and Bell. NFCCG: > : This is another game I think could really go either way but I think Atlanta's great running attack, MVP caliber play from Matt Ryan and their underrated defense will be enough to get them past Green Bay. Super Bowl: > : Might come off as a real homer pick, but I think Pittsburgh has the potential to win it all this year as long as the big 3 stay healthy. I think this battle of elite offenses will come down to which defense plays better and I'd give a slight edge to the Steelers over the Trufant-less Falcons unit. This would make for an incredibly entertaining and interesting Super Bowl matchup to be sure, especially getting to see AB and Julio go head-to-head on a big stage.
