Blidh deserves a move up trade some bum to get him up their if you have to
I agree to not get Pietrangelo or that wont be realistic but you could have gotten boychuk for braun, picks, or prospects. And he has a good contract. Should have checked him more. But I'm glad you didn't trade ceci
Glad you didn't trade Ceci or move in for Pietrangelo, you don't want to kill they boys' confidence by bringing in a new star defenseman because you don't feel like your team's good enough.
This is your cup team, it should be left exactly the way it is.
If you want Dadonov to grow, put him on the third line. Kind my is also a playmaker, and he is 2 overalls higher! Put Konecny where Dadonov is, and move Stone the the LW position on the third line. Then, you can put Dadonov on the third line RW position.
Johnny you should probably trade Dadanov if he doesn't get to an 84/85 this offseason. and TRADE STONE! He's shit, and just look at his hits for the season and see if he was "throwing his body around"
Goddamnit kind my=Konecny
Change your lines, infocenter says Savard is starting.
Johnny you should trade for seguin and bench to tell him to fuck himeslf
It's called cap space
Johnny by my opinion this was a little bit of a fallback year, because before this season you had 2 straight 50+ win seasons and this year 46 wins. I definetly think the Mike Hoffman trade effected the team and not trading Stone instead. Just saying next season it's time to trade Stone the past 3 or 4 seasons have been nothing but a slump for Stone and it's unexceptable the way he's playing. Trade him. But I agree with you not trading Ceci becuase then you would be running low on cap space. But at the same time it could've made a big impact.
Johnny, this is a point in the season where you grab someone (Warning! Long time fan biased opinion) like Jeff Skinner, you want a sniper that can fill in gaps to make your team perfect! Just an option if your thinking about it! Although, this would be for something like early next year as you have missed your chance to get skinner.
Based on all your arguments you've ever made (whether it be this GM mode or previous ones) there is no reason why you shouldn't trade Stone away and move Blidh up. Blidh is: younger, tougher, better, higher overall, takes less PIMs, better +/-, he's a super duper Swede, costs less, and doesn't disappoint on the FOURTH LINE. Stone has gotten top line time and puts up bad points and constantly disappoints. He could also be blamed for stunting the growth of some players. Face it Johnny, you've been wrong since the rumours started and Stone is getting worse and his value is going down. The idea to trade Hoffman wasn't bad but keeping Stone is beyond stupid.
i think it was a good decision you have traded enough 1st and 2nd round picks for veterans and u probably couldn't of resigned him beacuse he probably wants more than 6 mill next year and u can't have 3 90+ overall defenseman even though it's nice it's too hard to keep 3 90+ overall defenseman with a good team cause of the salary cap
While I would have liked Pietrangelo to be in a Sens uniform, I think you made the right decision in not trading your future for him.
I agree. Having a 92 on the 2nd line would've been overkill and frankly a waste of his talents. Just like Keith Yandle playing 3rd pairing in NY.
Because everyone is complaining aboot stone being pretty much useless, you should either put stone on the 1rst or 2nd line on the AHL squad, or put him on the 4th line because blidh is a good point producer.
Johnny, great decision to keep me in Ottawa I won't let you down!
