I think we should keep our dominant young pitchers like stroman and Sanchez... But is it worth it to pick this stud up? I think we should keep our prospects too, that price deal was garbage.

Our Starting Rotation is set. No need for a change. Just need better bullpen.

I agree but what about the hole in the outfield? Is it worth it to sacrifice our rotation?

We did acquire prospects and signed some but the point is the jays want to be a legitimate WS favorites so they're trying as much to do that.

We just need a first basemen to replace EE and a RF to replace Bautista if he doesn't sign and plus more arms for the Bullpen since our Bullpen was poor last year

    No they shouldn't.
McCutchen will cover some of the impact that Encarnacion had but he value is way too much.

He hit .256 last year and underperformed on a pretty good Pirates team IMO. Plus his defense was horrible last year finishing last in runs saved by a CF.

His age is good and he's due to have a pretty good season next year but even with his down year, his value is still going to be up there. That means the Jays would have to give up some prominent players off the starting squad. It's not that smart to give up so much just for a decent fielder/good bat when the Jays have bigger issues to solve.

Yeah maybe they should also get Mike Trout, Bryce Harper, and Clayton Kershaw. Unfunny jokes aside, idk too much about trade rumors in the MLB and if the Pirates even want to trade McCutchen. However, if the Blue Jays can get him, get him. People care too much about these "hot" minor league prospects that'll just end up being bums. Get good players to win now, if you wanna rebuild just wait 5-10 years to be relevant again.

it would cost them way too much. They're near the end of their competitive cycle by losing guys such as Encarnacion and the major decline and loss of Bautista. At this point, if they trade for McCutchen, they are trashing their future just to try to compete with the monster called the Boston Red Sox. It's not worth it for the Jays.

Nationals made a panic move McCutchens market is much colder, why do you think Pittsburgh pulled him off the market?

We still have an abundance of young pitchers, now we definitely should not trade them but we could.

He was pulled off the market because the pirates wanted to keep him, despite having very good offers. That's what I read.

The jays would have to trade people that would hurt them and not be worth their while.
